My distro forced me to update to 1.0.2rc2 (was at 0.9.3). After this I started to notice that on ctrl+v single letters is being inserted. However I am sure that I did not copy them (it does not have any sence). But I notice also that those single letters are part of the phrase/string I copied before.

I do not know how this can happen, but I noticed this more than just couple of times.

Can you please give some clip board examples? I've not noticed this here, and I use it every day across several distros. I have to duplicate the issue before I can fix it. I need both the previous clip board entry, the current clip board entry, and what was pasted with Ctrl-V. Also, which application(s) are you using and what is the distro? Thanks

its somehow related with end of line symbol. following test case 'works' for me

    go to start of line
copy all line via shift+end -> ctrl +c
    go to start of line
    insert some symbol here
    go to end of line
    insert 2 any symbols here
move cursor between those 2 new symbols
    press ctrl+v

Try this on 1.1.0 and see if it addresses the problem.

This is a really old bug, never duplicated, and on an old release. If it shows up with the latest release, please open another bug.
