I tested the brandnew parcellite 1.1.7 - nice list of changes! But I met a nasty segmentation fault that could be a severe problem for newbies who try to upgrade. I guess the cause is simple though:
I had parcellite 1.1.6 before. After upgrading to parcellite 1.1.7 it did not start at all anymore. When I started 1.1.7 in a terminal I saw lots of "Unable to load pref '...' and then a segmentation fault! I figured out that the cause of the crash was the missing key "phistory_key=". I guess this pref key is new in 1.1.7 and simply has no reasonable hard-coded default.
@affected_people: just add the following line to your ~/.config/parcellite/parcelliterc
phistory_key=<Ctrl><Alt>X
Good grief! Fix one thing and break another. Can you build from SVN? It should be fixed with SVN 491. Thanks
If that fixes the issue, I'll roll another release, since that's a show stopper.
