Thanks, this works as it should.

Now, because you say "Barcode font", and since I see how pango+cairo can
paint something to Postscript, another project waiting for a good
solution comes into my mind... Are there any Barcode fonts that I should
integrate (by placing them into the ~/.fonts dir) and I could use 
from cairo?
