I have uploaded to the pano12 branch:
-Many minor changes to the Photoshop plug-ins.
-MSI to install to Windows pano12, the tools, and the plug-ins
-Utility used during install to copy plug-ins to Photoshop plug-ins
-All the distributables in the MSI.
The plan is that this will be(not yet) a final Windows installer of the
legacy pano12 tools and plug-ins
You can currently download the MSI from my site.
Please give me all feedback to the completeness and or problems with this.
I want to make the installer as easer to use as possible. Not just for
I usually do not like when installer add shortcuts to the desktop but
with the nature of most of panotools tools used as droplets I believe it
will be acceptable.
The installer automatically installs to "Program Files\Panorama Tools",
and adds shortcuts to the start menu & desktop.
To the start menu is added
- a shortcut to a Readme.html file that has short descriptions of the
tools and links to the wiki.
- a shortcut to the tools folder. -
On the desktop a folder with links to the various tools . ( 10 separate
But I do make sure the shortcuts can be deleted or moved without the
installer starting up again and adding them again.
The plug-ins are copied to the plug-in folder for Photoshop.
I want to thank Tom Niemann who did most of the work getting this all going.
Once this MSI is finalized then I will merge to the trunk.
