Hello there ! :-)
My name is GrosBedo (alias GBO), the new developper for Panic Button ;-)
This release is the first of many I will produce. It fixes all the bugs users submitted, plus many others I've encountered, so now you shouldn't see any flaw in this software (I'm a pro at debunking exploits ;p). Panic Button places an icon in the Windows system tray. If the user clicks or double-clicks on this icon, a screen shot is taken and e-mailed to a configurable e-mail address. A description of the problem encountered can be included. This makes it easy for users to provide support staff with accurate problem descriptions, and the support staff can read the text of any error messages that were displayed on-screen. ... read more

Gerard Jensen has translated version 2.3 into German. This is a preliminary release, and Gerard would like to hear comments on changes that he has made. Any comments received will help shape development of the localisation features that are planned for inclusion in version 2.4
Many thanks to Gerard for his work on this. Please, if you’re German, or understand German, download it and give Gerard some feedback. Downloads can be found in the "Beta releases etc" package:

Panic Button's web site is now a blog. Since there wasn't much on the web site, I decided it made more sense to turn it into a blog. The idea is that I can keep users informed of what is going on, what I'm working on, etc. And, of course, users can leave comments to let me know what they think.

The bug meant that the startup shortcut was not created properly, so that Panic Button did not start when a user logged on. This bug has now been fixed, and the setup.exe file has been replaced with a working copy.
