Translators, I've not found any issues with 2.4 beta 3, so I'm looking to release version 2.4 as soon as I can. Please get your .po and .mo files to me for inclusion as soon as you can, and before Friday 8th December at the latest. Russ PS: The following is from António Rainho, and describes how he worked around a problem. It may be of use to others, but I don't know how to properly fix his problem. Also, please ensure that any replies go to the list, not just to me. You may have to use the "Reply all" function in your e-mail client. ------ I had another problem : at first the accented letters, although correctly written in POEDIT, appeared with some strange letters as you can see in Print Screen “PanicButton_portuguese” attached. Then I understood that to get the right letters in the screen I had to change the charset in the Catalog POEDIT settings from utf-8 to iso8859-1 and then the accented letters begun to appear correctly. The problem seems to be solved but, after that, when I try to load the pt_PT catalog file again, I get an error “Failed to convert file contents to Unicode” and it’s impossible to edit it. Of course I can always have a source catalog in utf-8 and only change to iso8859-1 to get the compiled .mo file, but do you know of any solution to this problem ? |
