Hi Russ, I have just uploaded the preliminary files of my translated version of=20 Panic Button 2.3 to my fileserver: http://www.a2b-consulting.com/panicbutton/downloads/Panic_Button_de_2-3.e= xe http://www.a2b-consulting.com/panicbutton/downloads/Panic_Button_de_2-3.z= ip http://www.a2b-consulting.com/panicbutton/downloads/Panic_Button_de_2-3_s= rc.zip I hope the above links don't get mangled too much, otherwise check out http://www.a2b-consulting.com/index.php?option=3Dcom_content&task=3Dview&= id=3D18&Itemid=3D27 I'd appreciate it if you could upload these files to the Sourceforge=20 repository though (as soon as that's done I'd change the links on my=20 site too), as that's probably the better place to keep them - my traffic=20 quota at Strato obviously can't compete with that of Sourceforge ;-) As mentioned, it's a preliminary release - I invite comments on all the=20 changes I have made, starting from a slightly re-designed helpfile=20 (different css file, screenshots from an XP system, as I regard that to=20 be pretty much commonplace these days, added (yet really, really small)=20 index, modified the javascript) over to a couple of changes in the=20 sources itself (different time format). Whoever downloads and uses that version should keep in mind that it's=20 actually a "breakout" version: the installer currently only supports=20 German (I have included translated InfoBefore.de.txt and=20 InfoAfter.de.txt files as well as a slightly modified gpl.de.txt - at a=20 later point we still have to pick up on that point of providing a=20 directory structure that caters for different languages, essentially=20 allowing for a single installer one day to support multiple languages)=20 and I'm not quite sure if I've really included all the files required=20 (it just happens to work when I use it on my machine - no warranty that=20 it works on any other). However: we now have the first "internationalised" version of Panic=20 Button. Time to start a bit of marketing of that thingy in Germany, I=20 guess ;-)) Talking about which, I've also created a forum on my website for the=20 discussion of German translation issues, so as not to clutter the=20 official Panic Button bug report area for this "inofficial" German 2.3=20 version: http://www.a2b-consulting.com/index.php?option=3Dcom_joomlaboard&Itemid=3D= 28 (yes, obviously all in German over there... after all, that's probably=20 the language most folks speak that stumble accross problems with the=20 German translation ;-)) Kind regards Gerard --=20 From a2b Consulting GmbH Gerard Jensen R=F6dingsmarkt 39 mailto:ger...@a2... 20459 Hamburg http://www.a2b-consulting.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tel: 040-657934-60 Fax: 040-657934-62 Handy: 0160-8050313 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
