Installation

WINDOWS with MYSQL Database

• Create an empty database with your favourite administrator tool
• Assign user and password to the database
• Download and place java connector in any location
• Download and install Java Runtime
• Download Pangea Open POS executable file
• Launch the file and follow instructions
• Launch the application

• A popup will appear asking to enter database details. Use the followings:
  Driver library: click on the folder button and select the java connector (example: C:\Program Files\MySQL\Connector J 5.1.20.0\mysql-connector-java-5.1.20-bin.jar)
  Driver class: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
  URL:jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/ and the empty database name (example: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/resto)
  User: user you assigned to database
  Password: password for the user you assigned to database

• If all the above step were done correctly, at next run the application will create database tables and will be ready to be used.

NOTE: There might be some issue with font. To make sure correct fonts are displayed go to C:\pangea open pos\fonts and install the 2 fonts in the folder.
