Everytime I want to exit the app I have to reset the Palm! Ive seen a lot of other people complain of the same thing, how about building in an Exit menu item?
Another thing that works on the 700p is to pick "System Network prefs" under the VNC menu. That takes you to the standard network screen, from where you can get back to the other functions.

Well, just as bad as using the camera would be this: To get out once in PalmVNC, I go into VNC Prefs (Menu>VNC>VNC Preferences). Once in there, you can use any of your app keys to 'get out'.

update - on the T/X you can not exit using the "home" button, you must use the "home" icon in the graffiti input area.

I had the same problem at first, but i discovered/found a solution:
Hold the option (solid blue) key and press the home key. VIOLA!
