Palm VNC 2.0.5 will not allow exit on Treo 700p soft
reset,incomming call or alert will allow exit only.

    FYI, this works for me just fine with the latest development version (on the 700p). Try it out. Unfortunately, for me, the up / down keys of the 5 way navigation don't work with the latest development version (12/30/2006). Good luck,

    I've found a way out. It doesn't solve the problem but it does work.

    The left button (I think its originally camera mode) on my phone is set to goto my contacts when held, and if I hold it, it kicks me out of the program.

    I had the same problem at first, but i discovered/found a solution:

    Hold the option (solid blue) key and press the home key. VIOLA!
