I am the owner of a new Treo 700p. I have installed
Palm VNC (both builds that are currently available).

Once program is installed I can open it, everything
works great but I can never leave the program. No
button I push allows me to exit. The only way to get
out is to soft reset the device.

FYI, this works for me just fine with the latest development version (on the 700p). Try it out. Unfortunately, for me, the up / down keys of the 5 way navigation don't work with the latest development version (12/30/2006). Good luck,

I had the same problem at first, but i discovered/found a solution:

Hold the option (solid blue) key and press the home key. VIOLA!

This is also true on the 755p. The Option-Home workaround does work using today's latest Beta (2.0.6-dev build 232), but other "exit" keys (i.e. phone button, home button alone, messaging button, etc.) cause a key-press click, but nothing else happens. While fixing this, it would be wonderful if you could also fix the 5-way functionality (e.g. make it possible to hit Menu-down-center to disconnect). Thanks.

Same to me in a Palm T/X.
Hit the button "search" for "a". It will find something, choose it and you will be out from PalmVnc!!
