Oddly enough, I was just trying that myself and it seems to
work fine, in fact it is ideal, because I can also edit the layout
that way - I want a numeric pad and a directional pad, for
controlling/programming an educational robot.

I guess it is not possible to re-label the keys on runtime,
because the labes are defined in a resource file.
So the key labels are hardcoded, I think.

PRCedit (1.0beta).
