Creating smaller opening books

Hello,
First, I want to congratulate everyone working on this project, keep up the great work.
I have been using the Opening trainer for a bit, and I want to section the ECO book by opening, so I can train on a specific opening. I got pgn2book, and a pgn version of ECO.
I copied a section of the ECO to another pgn file, but when I use pgn2book, I get this message:
$ ./pgn2book Siciliana.pgn
Not recognized: e4:PGN read error.
But it does work if I use pgn2book with a pgn file of an annotated game:
$ ./pgn2book Polyak-Bronstein.pgn
Opening Book Polyak-Bronstein.pdb created (1 games with 1 lines in 1 records).
If someone can help me fix this, I will post the smaller opening books for everyone.

The pgn seems to be incorrect. You can try to read it with a different program (e.g. PGN Pad, Jose) and save it again - try pgn2book with the saved file, again.

I checked your PGN - the game termination is missing. For example line
1. e4 c5
must be changed to
1. e4 c5 *
... as the game is over here.
You can simply do that via loading the file into Jose (also on Sourceforge) and save it - it will add the terminiation.

Thanks for the help.
I'm attaching the first opening book, the Sicilian and its variations. It corresponds to the same pgn file already uploaded, but corrected.

Hello!
After not having much time for hobbies, I've resumed my chess activities. Here's the Ruy Lopez opening book. I hope you find this useful.
