Hello, I have a question but am not sure where to get the answer. We are in = the process of designing a golf gps handheld for golfers. It is very = similar to a Palm handheld in size, weight, processor, and memory except = that we are integrating a gps receiver. One of our partners had asked = if it was possible to have the unit run linux so they could OEM the = handheld from us for their software. My question is fairly straight forward. Can a 16-33mhz processor run = linux and could it support an internal GPS receiver? Are there any = specific issues we should be aware of prior to looking into a linux = based handheld. The program is currently running on the Palm platform, = so it is relatively small in size and takes up very little memory. Any = information would be great. Thanks, Brian C.
