[Palm-linux-development] Symbol SPT test report

I have tested Palm uClinux on a Symbol SPT 1700, and it appears to have
failed to boot. Perhaps I am not doing it correctly but it does not appear
to work. I set up Procomm for 9600,N,8,1 and ran the Palm Loader. It's now
at the uClinux splash screen and appears to have frozen. Part of the URL
below the main uClinux logo appears corrupted; I'm not sure if this is
important or not--it looks like it says "/jusi^linuks/", but I can't read it
since pixels from it are missing. Nothing has come up on the terminal. This
test was done using the uClinuxPalm.prc application. The test Symbol is the
newer version of the 1700 with the "Palm Powered" logo in the upper right
corner instead of "Palm Computing Platform". It has 8 megs of RAM and I
believe 4Mb flash.
