#17 Date Data conversion Problem

I am having some date related problems with my DB
database. The database contains date of birth of the
employees and I am required to calculate the age by
comparing with today's date.

I have the original data as an Excel file which I have
converted into a 'csv' data file and then transferred to my
Palm Vx using DBTools. The date fields in the excel file
are with century viz. 28/12/1963.

I am facing certain problems in this and I have noticed
that the date in the converted DB database is shown as
28/12/63 i.e. 28/12/0063

While transferring the data the '.ifo' file contains the
following command -

format date %d/%m/%Y

What's wrong??
