#4 track transfer with 12xl

12XL ver 4.58 1996-2000
Palm IIIe with Palm OS v 3.1.1

Request track appears to receive track from gps or to
accept from computer while in host mode, but does not
output from PalGar to gps or computer. It states Send
Track in the host screen, but not activity occurs.

This function works in PalGar 1.6.2,and but for the
lack of icon functionality for waypoints which renders
random icons it is a workable version. Icon
functionality works in 1.7.0 beta 1 but from this beta
on the track is not useable.

Computer software is Waypoint+ 1.8.00 and all
functions appear to be compatible and between 1.6.2
and 1.7.0 have been used.

PalGar 1.7.2b1 does not work well with the Waypoint+,
and may be the inability to handle the extended
information, but the setting for gps12 in the
preferences should be correcting for that? Other
glitches occur that cause the palm to reset, but I
shall have to test and document to be able to recall
what actions led to the reset. I have not yet
completed sifting through the source code to
understand all the changes and lacking the PalmOS SDK
I can not recompile and try changes at this time.
