This is the first non-beta release of Page Scavenger, an application for downloading images from free image hosts.

The support for launching the application from Firefox and Internet Explorer appears to be solid at this point, as is the code for allowing Page Scavenger to authenticate against sites using the browsers' cookies.

This is a fairly major update of the application that include IE and Firefox add-ons to allow launching of the application as well as authentication to web sites (when launched from the browser).

This update is recommended to all current users. Once you've used the add-ons, you'll never want to go back to copy and pasting the URLs...

I have released another minor update. This has fixes to Photobucket downloads.

This is a fairly important update that I recommend to all current users. You may or may not have noticed that when Page Scavenger hits Image Venue sites, it makes 2 passes. This had to do with my poorly designed regular expressions and I could only get it to work by using two variants of the expression, one done in each pass.

This only resulted in the image being downloaded once, but it makes downloading from Image Venue slower than it has to be.... read more

I have released another minor upgrade to 1.0.5 of Page Scavenger. This release simply allows configuration of the minimum allowed file download size via the File/Preferences dialog.

Version 1.0.4 of Page Scavenger has been released. This version fixes PaintedOver so that it should download those images properly now.
