#74 hiragana or katakana 'n' and '-' low res

On the hiragana and katakana pallete the character for
'n' and '-' look low-res and pixelated while the other
characters are nice and pretty.

A related issue that may be relevant:

When I install the gothic font from the fontpack, the
hiragana and katakana 'n' and '-' are rendered in gothic,
but the remaining characters are rendered in mincho.
