The first few releases can be plain zipped archives, but future releases should come with a proper installer / packaging.

On all platforms, it should be well integrated -- à la EditPlus 2 explorer menus.

1) For Windows, NSIS seems to be a good candidate.
2) For Linux, create Debian & RPM packages.
3) What to do for Mac?
