#9 WRITE error sector & can't umount

i use the packet-cd 0.0.2o-pre1 + kernel 2.4.7 , when
i copy the file , the system show

I/O error : dev 0b:00, sector 601748
pktcdvd: pktcdvd0: read failure
pktcdvd: pktcdvd0: WRITE error sector 601748
.
.

so i want to change the disc , but i can't umount the
device , the system freeze , is this a bug ?
