YAPP, of mine are these UNIXisms. For a simple use of Cygwin they're
not even needed and yet they are forced on you by the Setup.exe. I've
often found that removing these files often removes complexities not
needed. Without these files and with nontsec all of this is emulated.
Corinna has done much work and now Pierre is helping complete it, but I
still think there can be more done with the emulation pieces. In MSYS I
don't even provide a method to use these files. There needs to be a
root user emulation where the root user and wheel group exist on the
local machine, physically by that name. Uid and gid would be reported
as 0. Can't you just see the benefits?
