Hi,
I've uploaded my current files of P4J, which are by no means in a usable state. The event scheme is working though, as all the buffer servicing stuff (so you can actually play a file or two ;-)
I'm sort of out of time now, but wanted to seed the project to find if there is anyone interested in this...
Feel free and welcome to make any comments!

Made first release into a .zip
Also tested it in linux too! So current release contains a .jar, a.dll for windows and a .so for linux.
Play and record work, DTMF recognition, end of record via DTMF or silence. Support for CAS protocols, no ISDN yet (but coming soon if I get to close a project I'm working on).

Vance,
yes, I'm trying to find time to do it. Reason being not only that Pika boards are cheaper, but that I don't like Dialogic heading in not letting you control the low level issues. GC is the only way to go in DM3 boards :-)
The versatility of the Pika approach pleases me.
I only own a digital 2 span card for the time being, so analog channel support will have to wait for my daytona (or someone elses :-)
Yes, ISDN is coming. All the classes/interfaces are designed with the whole picture in sight though,
(at least the picture I'm able to make :-) so there should be no problems in implementing whatever I have not done yet.
No experience with acculab, sorry...

I would be very interested in this project. I hope you do find time to continue your efforts here.
I don't think I will find 2nd hand Pika boards around, but they are considerably cheaper from dialogic and perhaps Acculab what I understand.
Apart from CAS, is analog protocol supported? I'm not at all pushing, but do you think you will continue with this project and add ISDN support?
If so, we will look at sourcing a card and testing P4J. Should prove very interesting.
On a side note, we do have an Acculab single E1 digital card that we are not using. Have you ever looked into Acculab's technology?
Cheers,
Vance
