#103 100% CPU with JBoss IDE
I have a project under Perforce Control.
I choose project, right-click -> properties
choose packaging or xdoclet.
hit "apply"
eclipse workspace goes to 100% CPU.
either of these pages write to top-level configuration
files: .packaging or .xdoclet. If these files are under the
control of Perforce, I see this problem.
I have tried to write-enable the files, and they appear in
the perforce changelist.

By chance, I made the problem disappear.
I noticed one of the views in the perforce perspective would
not show a popup menu with the right click. I have seen this
when you load a workspace and it cannot load a deleted
perspective.
I deleted the perforce config directories from my .metadata in
the workspace. Naturally this made my perforce server
disapper, and I lsot my gui properties. So I ADDED THE
SERVER AGAIN and the problem stopped.
In the meantime I had been through a few attempts to install
various versions of the plugin. so I'd say that the config got
into some state where it had this 100% COU Problem, and
deleting and adding the perforce server fixed the probelm.
I'll observer further and report again later.
