#15 p3scan and dynamic IP

System : ubuntu breezy server
P3scan version : 2.1
Firewall : iptables (rules generated by Shorewall)

Description :
The server is connected to internet with adsl (ppp).
There is about 10 clients on the lan which all check
there e-mails automatically.
When a new ip is asigned by the dsl provider, p3scan
seems to sometimes "lose" control.
No error message is issued.
P3scan process is still running, and netstat informs me
about connections in various states which seem to be stuck.
The only way to get out of this is to kill the process
and start p3scan again ('/etc/init.d/p3scan restart'
doesn't work).
My thought is that happend if the disconnection occurs
as p3scan is waiting for an answer from a remote server.
