Attempting to access a fresh hygrochron, Oww reports
that its clock is not running, and aborts.

If the Dalsemi utility is used to start the clock, Oww
will access the hygrochron correctly.

    Simon,

    On that note, occaisionally owwnogui will die complaining
    about not being able to read the hygrochron when the
    oscillator is not running. I have this problem
    intermittantly when running in a screen session, or as a
    damonized process. If oww/owwnogui could handle this more
    gracefully, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for
    your excellent work on this!

    From 0.81.8 Oww will let a stopped-clock error pass without
    aborting.
