Hello,

I am glad to know that some people do like the software.

For the Zoom Area feature, I am also keen to implement it. However, since implementing that feature requires major re-write, it may not be finished soon. If you have suggestions for how to write a good GDSII viewer, please let me know.

I think you know ! I find your viewer very good compared to several ones (especially under linux).

If the "zoom area" feature is a problem, maybe a simple "zoom" is easier ?

This would be nice to be able to zoom more quickly (x10 ?, allow user to specify zoom factor ?)
