I used the project file to build OWLNext because OWLMaker won't do [VCL build mode for Clang-based toolsets].

Regarding support for VCL build mode for the Clang-based toolsets, feel free to contribute if you can. See [feature-requests:#70]. This ticket has links to other related discussion as well.
