[OWLAPI-developer] Database Backend and Triple Store support

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and wanted to learn something which might have been
asked before: does the OWL API provide support for a database backend and
existing triple store implementations? If yes, could you please provide me a
pointer with more information on this? If not, is there an expectation to
provide such a support in a future release?
