A lightweight window management utility to help get the most out of your limited screen area, by (safely) giving you the tools to: add transparency to a window, force a window to be topmost/appear on top of all others, as well as shortcut toggle-able click-through, or "ghost widows", if you like, where all clicks pass right through it as if it weren't there.

Sometimes you may only need one of these settings, but combining them together effectively allows you to turn any program into an overlay.

For example, your games, or perhaps some documentation you were reading: allowing it to persistently stay on top of another window, without blocking out the content thanks to transparency, while also not having to worry about accidentally clicking on it, thanks to click-through ghost windows, but being able to interact with it when you *choose* to -- what you're left with, is a window with all of the attributes that make a dedicated overlay, and overlay, but present in an ordinary window

Features

  • Can turn any application window into a fully fledged overlay, by combining the primary three features together.
  • The first thing that makes an overlay: it doesn't grab focus, clicks go right through it. This can be toggled on and off with a configurable hotkey, in order to temporarily interact with the window.
  • Any window can be "pinned" so that it stays on top of every other window. It would hardly be an overlay without this.
  • Any window can be made transparent with an opacity slider that goes all the way down to 0% (you can get creative, and use it to hide sensitive windows, apart from its intended purpose, if you like).
  • Comes with a custom-made, aesthetically pleasing, dark Indigo-blue user interface.
  • Is fully themeable, as the stylesheet is not hardcoded, but sits alongside the executable, and can be modified or replaced with virtually any Qt stylesheet, of which there are plenty on the internet. Alternatively, the stylesheet file can be removed or renamed to revert back to the standard windows look.
  • Naturally, it includes a window grabber to select windows, but when selecting windows manually, the selector is actually more of a scanner, capable of picking up any and all windows, including hidden windows, title-less windows, duplicate windows, basically everything; you might not have known a lot of these windows existed!
  • Any tweaks made to your windows can conveniently be enabled and disabled by moving them between two lists, one for active, one for inactive.
  • The progam was written with safety in mind: if the program closes for any reason, the state of any modified windows will be automatically reset. You can rest easy; if you mess up, or lose track of a window, you can just close the program and everything will be undone.
