I am trying to run ovaldi interpreter as service on windows. But for collecting user specific objects such as entries from HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry object collection fails. Has anyone tried this, and is there any way so that objects from this registry key also get collected.
Is it failing due to an error? Or, is it failing because no items are being collected for something that exists on the system?
Also, could this be a permissions issue?
I found the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Google Earth Plus" on my system but interpreter reported in system characteristic file as status "Does not exist" when I run interpreter as a service. Is this because service does not get all required permissions? if so then what is the solution?
Sorry, it looks like I missed you reply. Can you please attach your OVAL Results document and we can take a look?
