The file probe code tries to use the fileName entity even when filepath entity is used in the definition. fileName is null in this case, so the program crashes.
This is an old bug; the unix filefinder code has had a lot of changes since this tracker entry was created, and I can't reproduce this anymore. So I think it got fixed along the way, although I can't point to a particular commit. Closing this as fixed.
