if one host has upwards of 50k songs, ourtunes get stuck on it. it
never finishes loading that host, or any host after it. otherwise
program is okay, you can still search any previously loaded hosts
The program seems to stick for any reason it cannot connect
to a single host. Even for users with under 1200 listings, the
program can hang on something like an improper connection.
Suggest add time-out limit on host resolution; throw
exception upon no response after maybe 30 seconds,
possibly diplay error in the status bar or do nothing. Else add
background connecting for connections.

On clarification of the previous note, it doens't necessarily
lock up as much as it hangs for a long time.
