Hi,
I like the OpenSwing suite of components.
But there is just one component lacking : Excel-like Grid component.
Excel is used every where because of its user friendly type of grid and the fact that one can
do calculations in it, either in a cell, or setting up formulas in one cell and referencing another cell.
There are projects from OpenOffice to try to embed Calc in Java Swing,
The projects are called : UNO and OfficeBean.
But it is hard to get help/info on this.
Also the Gnumeric project has another project that is called JExcel.
Also I would like to see this be integrated into NetBeans IDE.

I have done research on people in the industry that have worked on this stuff, see link below:

From Gnumeric :
http://www.jfree.org/jworkbook/
JWorkbook is a class library for creating spreadsheet files from Java. This version can save files in Gnumeric format. In addition, there is partial support for the Excel file format, thanks to the POI project. JWorkbook is licensed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public Licence (LGPL).

So if you guys could get into contact with these people above and create an excel-grid like component
then OpenSwing, in my opinion would be KING of Java-Components!!!

I wish all the best for the OpenSwing Project.
