#60 1.2.3 installation problem on macos

No

The installer doesn't write Open Sound World.app to
/Applications.

Also, there is a small permission issue (can't say if
is related), since after the installation (which, btw,
doesn't returns errors) diskutil finds wrong
permissions on /Applications. Fixing them doesn't help.

MacOS 10.3.5 (7M34)

On MacOS 10.3.6, Open Sound World.app is also failing to show up in /
Applications. Also, owner, group and permissions were altered on /
Applications, but Disk Utility was able to correct them.

By re-running the installer package, I have verified that the OSW
installer is altering the ownership and permissions. Here is the Disk
    Utility log output:

User differs on ./Applications, should be 0, owner is 501
Group differs on ./Applications, should be 80, group is 501
Permissions differ on ./Applications, should be drwxrwxr-x , they are
drwxr-xr-x User differs on ./Applications, should be 0, owner is 501
Group differs on ./Applications, should be 80, group is 501
Permissions differ on ./Applications, should be drwxrwxr-x , they are
    drwxr-xr-x

There is more - I took apart the archive enclosed in the installer package
and found that the ".app" seems to be missing from the archive. And /
usr/bin/osw seems to need someting in the archive, as it presents the
    error message:

    [black:~] root# /usr/local/bin/osw
    /usr/local/bin/osw-wish: line 2: /Applications/Open Sound World.app/
    Contents/Resources/Wish Shell.app/Contents/MacOS/Wish Shell: No such
    file or directory

Pardon my double post - I didn't see that comments are added to the top.

The permissions issue is caused by having the the "Overwrite
permissions" box checked in PackageMaker - that's an embarrassing
    oops.
Still looking into the missing .app

I have checked in a fix for both issues. I expect to release it
as version 1.2.4 in the next day or so.
