Version 0.0.0.1 Released!

The first release is now out. You can find the Windows 32-bit installer, .zip, and .tar files in the downloads section:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ostbge/download

There is a test application that comes with this source (../OSTBGE/src/testApp.cpp). Project solutions have been made for the following compilers:

MSVC 8 (2005)
DevC++ 5 beta

HELP NEEDED!

To make OST-BGE a more "universal" game engine, then we will need to have different people using different platforms/compilers. I am currently running MSVC++ SP1 on Windows XP SP2. If you would like to join in as a tester or developer, please send me an email at: richardperkins [at] hotmail.com (replacing the "[at]" with an @ symbol, and getting rid of the spaces)

Update 5.1.08

We are about to release v.0.0.1 (scary, I know). I am currently cleaning up some unnecessary code, and trying to minimize the amount of code without affecting the functionality of the code. A little more documentation needs to be done, and the site needs some major work (I'll work on that after a bit)

OST-BGE currently has support for MSVC++ 2005 for Windows XP SP 2. Anyone with a different compiler, different version of Windows, or have a whole different OS altogether is more than welcome to test this out. We need to universalize the code, so anyone and everyone can use it.
