I have USB-Storage working on Redhat 7.1 Kernel version
2.4.8 upgraded from 2.4.2
I have another Linux System I would like to use the same
device on but Older Linux Mandrake 7.0 kernel version
2.2.19
is there going to be a buildable source code for this
driver
or is the problem it being a usb device it has to be a
kernel
module.
is there a possibility of adding the
<kernel>/driver/usb/storage to the
older kernel and rebuilding the kernel to get it
working on older
versions of linux.
Please do not BS me if you don't know don't answer me.
Otherwise is there a buildable source code for the driver
as I would like to be able to use the drive on both
machines.
I am very knowledgeable of Linux system and have gotten
everything needed working.
But I do take the time to ask important questions.

I just found a patch for this version of the kernel. It's
at
