#98 install fails for windows 2008 x64

During the Create Start-menu Shortcuts page in the installer, the window does not paint any of the items on the dialog box except the "Setup Shortcuts" icon. The error / stack trace on the command line reads "could not create shortcut instance" then the exception comes from java.lang.unsatisfiedlinkerror: C:\....temp\1\ShellLink.dll: Can't load IA 32 bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform
at com.izforge.izpack.util.Librarian.loadLibrary(Librarian.java:277)

tried this using the latest version of Java 6 and well as the last release of Java 5.
Platform: Windows 2008 Server (x64)
