    Hello robinca,

I hope this project is still alive. I downloaded the driver and it appears to
compile fine. I do not think it is actually installed in the kernel for me.
After plugging in the test board, the osrfx2 program complains that it cannot
find the driver. here are the details:

running Redhat Desktop 5.3 (Linux kernel 2.6.18-128.el5) on DELL Precision
    5400

using OSR USB-FX-2 board, rev 2.0

When I plug in the board, it powers up (BAR LEDs display all 8 (of 10) ON. The
    7 segment displays 3 then 5 and finally H.

I try to run the test program and get:**

    Can't find /dev/osrfx2_0 device**

    The devices listed include:**

    /dev/usbdev1.14_ep00

    /dev/usbdev1.14_ep06

    /dev/usbdev1.14_ep81

    /dev/usbdev1.14_ep88**

which appear when I plug in the test board.

So I seem to be missing the install step. I tried :**

    insmod osrfx2.ko**

    and got **

insmod: error inserting 'osrfx2.ko': -1 File exists**

So I am stuck. Any help? please.

    Ed

I seem to have stumbled on a solution. The usbtest driver that is installed
with LINUX apparently was blocking the OSF driver. I removed the usbtest
module and then the osf driver worked fine.

    Have a good day.
