+About Osmosis TTS:
+=========================

-This is the default page, edit it as you see fit. To add a new page simply reference it within brackets, e.g.: [SamplePage].
+*A teacher of mine told the class: “One cannot read a book by osmosis.” He then put his hand on a book, closed his eyes, and pretended to absorb the information.*

-The wiki uses [Markdown](/p/osmosistts/wiki/markdown_syntax/) syntax.
+
+Osmosis TTS is a learning tool featuring the ability to read text copied to the clipboard using SAPI5 voices and display the text in a large customizable window, highlighting each word as it is spoken. Unfamiliar words can be easily searched using online dictionaries and search engines and then displayed in an embedded web browser for a streamlined workflow. Osmosis TTS can help build vocabulary by maintaining a history of searches for the student to review at a later time.
+
+This tool is ideal for:
+•  Users with low vision
+• Multitasking users who must occupy their eyes elsewhere
+•  Students learning other languages
+• Students with learning disabilities such as ADD or Dyslexia

+Available Voices:
+----------------
+Osmosis TTS is, and always will be completely free; however, you may find that purchasing high quality voices gives a better experience. SAPI5, pronounced ‘Sappy Five’ allows developers to utilize speech technologies such as Text To Speech (TTS) and Voice Recognition in their applications. SAPI5 voices can be purchased from third parties in various languages. If you do find a TTS voice you would like to purchase and use with Osmosis TTS, you must ensure it is SAPI5 compatible or Osmosis TTS will not recognize it. Although it sound somewhat robotic, espeak is a suitable SAPI5 compatible voice which is available in many languages.
