I've seen (and downloaded) a Windows version of Osmo, and it is great - except that it writes to "c:\documents and settings\userid\.osmo" - this isn't bad in and of itself, but it can't be run from a USB drive this way.

Being an "official" PortableApp would be best. Being an "unofficial" one would also be good, giving the option to place the app data on the same drive that Osmo was run from (typically in the "\Documents\Osmo" directory for osmo - note that "Documents" is hidden).

It runs fine from a USB drive now, except that it stores its data in a place that doesn't stay with the USB drive.

Thanks!

You need to request packaging from the team at http://portableapps.com/
The current Osmo windows release is broken, so this should be fixed before thinking about packaging a portable app.

Closing this as it hasn't been touched for years, feel free to reopên it if you feel it's needed.
