Finally after several months on hiatus then a month or two of hacking away at O a new release is finally here. With a completely rewritten Calendar, that now properly support recurring events along with new features like the ability to share Calendar events (as well as items from other services) with other users in the same groups.

Many bugs have been fixed as well. Including some that have been plaguing O for some time. From a developer perspective a lot of code has been cleaned up, and the MySQL class can now handle multiple queries at the same time.

OpenSource GroupWare has reached a major milestone in two cases. As of todays release of v0.2.6 the engine has been deemed stable (although still under heavy development) as well as two services (Tasklist, and Notebook). The other milestone is the long awaited addition of data sharing. Currently support by the above two services.
OpenSource GroupWare is a PHP based groupware app with a Calendar, Notebook, Tasklist, Contacts List and a Bookmarks plugin. Also after several months of being on hold Messaging is finally back to working order with the current release. O also has been programmed to easily allow for the addition of new services with ease.

OpenSource GroupWare an open source projects written in PHP with support for a MySQL and PostgreSQL backend has released version 0.2.5. This release includes a Calendar, Contact List, Notebook, and Tasklist as well as a downloadable bookmarks plugin.
The current release has had some major fixes. The installation is much more stable. And there's now support for two (same) languages. Canadian and American English.
This release is still buggy but is runs a lot nicer then previous versions.

This is an unstable but more secure release then previous releases. The configuration script has been completely re-designed to allow for the upcoming support of database updates.

This is a limited release to add support for PostgreSQL as well as some bug fixes and an update to the seperate plugin releases. Some small inconviniences have been dealt with and some modifications to the engine.

Now available for download is v0.2.0 Final for OpenSource GroupWare. The last couple release of O were only for debugging so this should have limited bugs.

The latest release of O is now out with a focus on bug fixes. Although it is still buggy and there is a lot to be done to make O useable in a production environment, it is well on it's way to becoming a GroupWare choice.

The next release of OpenSource GroupWare has been released with some major updates, including the ability to handle recurrences in Calendar events. Along with several bug fixes.
O now also runs on the Windows 2000/IIS 5 platform.

OpenSource GroupWare is now out of pre-alpha and up to alpha. With the release of v0.1.5 O has become fairly stable with just bugs missing. There are now two plug-in packages available for download with it, a file manager and a messaging service.

The latest release of out is now out and available with
plug-in support for a File Management service. Now under development are two more plug-ins. A messaging service, and a project manager.

After many sleepless nights hacking away at O the rewrite is nearly complete and less buggy then ever. Only some minor features missing and some small bugs but they'll be worked out.

Well. O is now just about 1 year old, and just after it's birthday 0.1.0 will be out. Hopefully if all goes well it will be the most stable release yet. Several features are still missing, but hopefully they'll be functional within the next stage of development.
