I'm interest to this exporter 'cause it is supported by the software "BuildAR", it allows to insert 3d objects into a video.
I'd like to create a 3d object the best merged as possible inside the video so lighting and materials are very important.
If I modify a Standard 3dsmax material to be more specular and reflective, the output effect in Osg preview window have anyway a "diffuse" appear.
So my first question is
-What about 3dsmax Standard material and Osg?
Then I'd like to know if it's possible to use "Reflective Map" to simulate metallic and plastic material
Thanks a lot!
I'm using BuildAr too, and I totally agree with that.
I tried to set the specular at the maximum level, but the shader still looks kinda flat.
It looks the same whether I open the file in BuildAR or osgviewer.
Here is what I'm talking about
I am having a similar problem. Did you manage to solve it?
