I have problem to export my animated model using character studio in max2009. The skeleton and skin are both exported but only the skeleton is animated and the skin of the model is static still. Is it the limitation of OSGExp to export this kind of animation or do I need to setup some settings for the model?
I haven't done these kind of things very often, but for this it is better to use Cal3D (https://gna.org/projects/cal3d/) and the max exporter for Cal3D. OpenSceneGraph has a plugin for Cal3D models. OSGExp isn't made for these kind of things.

It sounds to me like the osgCal project is being migrated to osgAnimation. osgAnimation seems to be moving away from cal3d and only loads .osg files. Right now I think the only 3d modelling program that is able to export character animations in .osg format is blender. It would be nice to be able to use 3ds max exporter and osgAnimation. I'd like to help with this if at all possible.
