osFinancials (3.0.0.2) stable release

The latest release of osFinancials allows you to make use of new functions. This is a small sum of all changes made in this latest release compared to the 2.0.2.0

Improved open item with better link and unlinking functions. Also improved reports of the open items (speed)

More progress bars in slow operations on large dataset. So you know when to get that coffee.

Get news and updates direly in osF true RSS feeds. We can now read RSS feeds and also allow you to create a simple search GUI in HTML on your osF data.

Speed up processing. Our clients are starting to have large datasets and this allows us to improve the speed there where it hurts the most. As we see databases exceeding 1 gigabyte there where some processes that had bad preform. But after analysing and correction we succeeded in improving the speed of posting data and other processes dramatic by using correct SQL.

Simple Project management we can now add document to projects and any batch line. You need to have a project active and have the batch set to include the project column (in set-up f10)
Also hours can be linked to projects.

Audit trail logging is now build in default it only records the open and closing of a set of books (who what PC etc) But can go as far as you like as you can build a trigger on any table to include changes / delete or update of a record. IF you set it to the highest log level it will also log the fact someone looks at a report.
