Export ticket to FAQ

It would be nice to export a ticket to the FAQ. It could just be a log of the communication presented more or less the same way tickets are displayed. It would minimize the work needed to create a new FAQ. Seeing the mail conversation between a tech-rep and a customer can be just as informative to another customer as a manually written FAQ post.

I've thought about this a few times but haven't implemented anything yet. The reverse of this would also be good (EG: being able to append a faq to a support request much like the knowledge-base system in osTicket 1.6ST).
I will look into this for the next version and see what I can do. Generally I try not to disrupt the osTicket system as much as possible but for these purposes I think it would be beneficial for everyone.

I am also interested into having this useful feature..
I missed being able to work on this idea for version 1.2. Will try and get something sorted for the next release.
