Change Description (incl. Benefits)

Add Single Sign-on to ClincialConnnect web viewer via their web service api. A link will be added on the echart (classic and flat) when ClincialConnnect has been configured for that user.

OSCAR Interaction points

-echart ( link to launch ClincialConnnect )
-admin ( configuration screens to add ClincialConnnect credentials and configure users)

Integration risks

Oscar clinics will need to manage who has access to launching ClinicalConnect.

Risk if not incorporated

Currently Users have to login separately to see data in ClincialConnnect

Minimum testing requirements/process

  1. Starting with a configured system, open the echart
  2. Click on the ClinicalConnect link and validate that ClinicalConnect has launched for the patient in context.

McMaster will complete testing, QA and provider results to the central OSCAR EMR team.

Training requirements to support changes

Add to user manual.
