Allow eForms to access the current provider-specific fax and phone fields.
There is a provider page, that allows a custom workphone and fax set for each provider.
The fields on the edit provider page are called xml_p_fax, and workphone.
These then are used for prescriptions and faxes.
There seems to be no way to call these fields from an eForm.
The benefits from this would be the same as why there are custom phone/emails available for prescriptions and faxes. In this office it would be that the consults from the specialists to the one of 2 GPs go the GPs own specific fax machine, so that it eliminates the wasted time sorting though the incoming faxes of the 2 doctors to be read: they are already sorted by coming to the correct fax machine.
I looked through the list of all the standard database tags available, and none listed that I see refer to the provider's custom fax nor phone [appended to the bottom of this post]. I asked my Oscar service provider to look into it, and stumped him to fix this.
If this feature is not done already, I will make a bounty available ($200.00 Canadian?).
Unsure of the meaning of this. I reckon 'eForms'.
I don't know.
Seems unlikely to cause a problem, since the fields aren't currently in eForms, so users would have to deliberately add the fields to their forms.
Won't break things. Just an odd duck out, that the prescriptions and consult requests can have custom provider-specific phones and faxes, but eForms seemingly cannot.
In Oscar 12_1.
Edit a provider in Admin.
Set the custom phone and fax for a provider.
Go to make an eForm to reference that phone and fax. Seems undocumented or unaccessible.
None
Unsure. It would depend how easy it is to add an interface tag to reference that underlying field.

Appendum: there is a doctor_work_phone (seems to work),
but no doctor_fax in list of tags, and doctor_fax and doctor_work_fax doesnt seem to work.
There is a:
referral_phone
referral_fax
but these dont seem to work either.
It would be best to use the phone and fax of the doc that is the primary care provider for them as per the one list on their demographic page, as it solves locum docs for either doc, and lets shared receptionists print out one too.
