OSCAR Change Request v1.2

Change Description (incl. Benefits)

Currently, when printing a label, the PDF label appears but the user needs each time to click on print, then select the correct printer, then press print again

Proposed changes:
User will have the option to set different default printer for each type of label (Appointment Receipt, Envelope, Label, Address Label, Chart Label, Client Lab Label) via the user preferences
User will have the option to silently print the label. That means the pdf label appears and prints directly to the right printer.
User will have the option to print the appointment confirmation via a receipt printer.

Requirement:
A PDF Reader with javascript support such as Acrobat Reader
For silent print, you will need to add the Oscar Server hostname or IP as a Privileged Location in Adobe Reader. Preferences --> Security (Enhanced) --> add Host

OSCAR Interaction points

We definitely need this to be documented

For silent print, you will need to add the Oscar Server hostname or IP as a Privileged Location in Adobe Reader. Preferences --> Security (Enhanced) --> add Host
