#2754 Unable to "Sign Save and Bill" after writing lab encounter

User is unable to bill a phone encounter from "Sign Save and Bill" button after viewing lab results in inbox.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a lab results from Inbox
2. Open echart from lab result
3. Encounter date shows as "todays date: Lab Results- Notes" with encounter type "Lab Results"
4. Type encounter note and click "Sign Save and Bill"
5. Invoice screen shows date field as "null", with inability to modify

Re-tested Master build #2268 -> the issue has been resolved.

This behaviour also occurs in R12.1 (build #441). Can the fix be committed to that branch as well?
